Bonsoir à toutes et à tous. Comme chaque vendredi prenez place, nous allons faire un petit voyage dans le temps grâce au «  Flashback Friday  ». Il y a trois ans presque jour pour jour, nous apprenions brutalement le décès d’une légende du rap : Prodigy . Il s’est éteint le 20 juin 2017, suite à des complications relatives à une maladie génétique dont il souffrait depuis l’enfance : la Drépanocytose. Prodigy, de son vrai nom Albert Johnson, est née le 2 novembre 1974 à Heampstead (New-York). Il grandit dans le Queens, plus précisément à Lefrak City une cité H.L.M., d’où sont aussi originaires Noreaga et Kool G Rap , deux autres légendes du rap. Avec un grand-père saxophoniste et un grand oncle joueur de trombone (tout les deux ont contribué à l’ère «  bebop  » du jazz), il est issu d’une famille de musicien.
